North Camp in Mostar

People often have a lot of wishes. They dream of big houses, traveling to different places, to grow into a successful and rich. That is until night falls. Clock hands match. Then they have only one wish. Because of which they cry or rejoice. Some dream just to have a roof over their heads ..On the day of 10/18/2016 we visited Mrs. Grozdana, who is a resident of a common refuge for the socially-vulnerable families in the North Camp in Mostar. We were caught by surprise by the sight. The place is creepy in itself. The lady we met in a ramshackle little room complex sitting on the couch with a view of the wanderer. To her surprise, she invited us to go in and join her, which we accepted. The room was cluttered with things, Grozdana says collected from a junkyard and what could be seen. He told a story and how hard it is to share the room with insects and rodents which is otherwise full of North Camp. Once she lived in another part of town in the apartment where she paid the rent of only 245 KM, but also she has three children. The apartment remained demolished in the war, and she continued her journey
from apartment to apartment as much she was able. End of her journey ended in the current location, where she lives past seven years to date. Grozdana is not exactly the best of health, its lower limbs are failing and is forced to use a wheelchair what further complicates her life. We facilitate it in some way at least the next period, and she thanked with tears in his eyes .
